The Braunston Traditional Boat Rally
The Braunston Traditional Boat rally takes place the weekend before The Stratford River Festival (23rd and 24th June) and features possibly the largest gathering of traditional working narrow boats in the country, Each year has a theme and for 2012 will be Grand Union boats

The Stratford and Warwick Waterways Trust
The objective of the Stratford and Warwick Waterways Trust is the promotion through to construction of the extension of the Avon Navigation from Stratford to Warwick and the formation of a junction with the Grand Union Canal. This project entails the restoration of an ancient river navigation, part of a scheme first authorised by Charles I in 1635. The benefits to the modern waterways network and to the Midlands tourist economy are substantial.
